Dick Gallup
The wheels of the psyche make no noise when they move
After, there is a sudden breath of air and a sharpness
Something that puts a moment to the time
The change rising like a warm light through the mind
On the fingertips of a breeze, at least a moment of promise
That flashes into the world of duration before history
Takes another of its infinitesimal steps.
