Salt Water Credentials (2007-2009) is comprised of mixed media paintings by Pamela Dewey and original poems hand lettered by Kevin Opstedal.  The paintings were created as a response to the visuals suggested by the poems, and the poems were then hand lettered as a response to the paintings.  The result is a collaboration by two artists – one a visual artist and the other a poet – exploring the interplay between word and image.
